How admissions work
Undergraduate applications to UK universities are usually made through UCAS (the central application service), while most postgraduate applications are made directly to each university. Applying early gives you the best choice of courses and the smoothest timeline, so it's wise to begin several months ahead of your intake.
You'll submit your academic documents, English test scores, a personal statement and supporting materials. Once a university offers you a place and you accept, they issue a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) — the key document you need to apply for your UK Student visa.
